The National Rock Climbing Centre located just outside Edinburgh is the largest indoor adventure training and climbing facility in Europe.
Henshaw were awarded the £500,000 contract to design and install Planar™ glazing to the roof and end walls of the 3,600 square metre climbing hall.
The roof system comprised of 12mm and 20mm laminated heat soak tested toughened glass supported on laminated glass fins. The end walls were glazed in 12mm Optifloat™ clear toughened and heat soaked glass supported by custom made tapered steel fins and tie rods.
